Getting StartedGetting Started 2 Part Systems You will need a nappy, a liner, and
an outer wrap (if nappy not velcro or poppered fastening you will also need a
nappi nippa) 1. Lay
the nappy out flat and fold booster (if there is one with the nappy) - fold
towards the front for a boy, or into the middle for a girl. 2. Place
the liner on top of the nappy and booster. 3. Lay
the baby on top of nappy and liner, and fasten. 4. Now
lay the baby on the wrap and fasten over the top of the nappy. Remember to ensure that the wrap
covers all of the nappy or you will have leaks onto the clothing Pocket Nappies 1. Put
the insert inside the pocket 2. Using
a liner is optional 3. Lay
baby on nappy and fasten If you do choose to use an extra
liner, remember to ensure it is all inside the nappy as any poking out will
cause wetness to wick. Night Use Cloth nappies can easily last for a
full night without needing to be changed, but for this most children need
extra boosters. Use your nappy as you would normally,
but lay one or two extra boosters out
flat underneath the liner. You can either buy boosters, or use microfibre
cloths (available from most supermarkets) folded in three. If you find your child is very wet
still in the morning, then add an extra booster. They will look uncomfortable
to begin with as they are so bulky (especially on a newborn), but they are
fine, sleep well, and do not damage their hips at all. |
